The Laboratory for Bioresponsive Materials is an interdisciplinary group of synthetic chemists, pharmaceutical scientists, bioengineers, materials, clinicians and medical researchers who collaborate intensively to design the innovative smart polymers, nanoparticles, hydrogels, and composites required for the futuristic approaches to medicine and biological research that are fast becoming reality. Together, with investigators across disciplines in engineering, physical sciences, and the School of Medicine we are working on technologies for on-demand drug delivery in precise locations, regeneration of damaged tissue, and safe image-based diagnosis.
